Hogwarts means closer to home
The thing about journals is that one must consistently write one's reactions to a myriad of life events if one is to use them properly at all. And with this journal -- read, as well, I suppose.
I'm sorry, journal, I have used you so abominably & only pull you out on the train in the midst of all the folk you connect me to.
But I am exceedingly fond of trains. I used to wish that the Express went on forever, even if it meant travelling into England to only come back home to Scotland. It all fit in, you see, hand into glove.
A trip to Hogwarts means the slow crawl toward home.

You all act like school is the most important damn thing in the world.
O, Hogwarts, how I long to return to thee. How I desire to grace thy halls with my loving presence, rubbing shoulders with my esteeemed classmates who will have only grown in greater intellectual stature since last we parted! Glory of glories! O, Hogwarts, what have I done without you.

Gods, now that that's over, will someone (who is trustworthy and loyal as a mule -- those creatures are loyal, yes? Loyal, barren & of hybrid blood) please assist me in bringing my harp to school on the first day? My father and I will basically get it to the doors, but I need some strong muscle to lug the guts up the stairs & to Ravenclaw Tower.
But you have to be a mule.
